Oktane Challenge e Oktane Trackday Press Release
A temporada 2017 começou com o pé direito no acelerador com dois eventos em apenas uma semana e promete muitas novidades!
Depois de uma longa espera, o Rio de Janeiro sediou novamente um evento de pista para proprietários de carros esportivos e superesportivos. O local escolhido foi o Clube de Voo Ceu, distante apenas 30 minutos da Barra da Tijuca, dentro da cidade do Rio. Em um domingo os 35 participantes puderam acelerar seus carros em uma prova de arrancada percorrendo 402 metros e disputada em duplas. Além da adrenalina em pista, o público presente pode conferir um show de acrobacias feito pelo Clube. Entre os mais rápidos do dia tivemos, Johnny com seu Porsche 911 Turbo, que passou na marca final do 1/4 de milha a mais de 211km/h, seguido de perto por Rodrigo Gomes com um Audi R8 Supercharger, que cravou 210 km/h no final do percurso.
Menos de uma semana depois já estávamos em Interlagos, acompanhados de 60 participantes que se dividiram entre os dois dias de pista. Como sempre o grid foi formado por carros de tirar o fôlego, entre eles o mito, a Ferrari F50 que já virou ícone de nosso evento, e esportivos de marcas como Porsche, Audi, BMW, Nissan, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Mini Cooper, Subaru, Chevrolet, entre outros.
A etapa de Interlagos contou com o patrocínio da Via Itallia, representante oficial no Brasil das marcas Ferrari, Lamborghini e Maserati. Os participantes tiveram o privilégio de conferir de perto o SUV Levante, lançamento da Maserati que conta com motor V6 biturbo que pode chegar a 430 cavalos. A beleza, o acabamento e o ronco do carro são impressionantes. Em exposição também estavam Lamborghini Huracán, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 458, Ferrari 430 Spider, Maserati GranTurismo MC, Maserati Ghibli e Maserati Quattroporte.

Vale lembrar que o Oktane Track Day não é um evento apenas para participantes com experiência em pista. Em todas as edições recebemos convidados que estão iniciando e contam com total suporte de nossos instrutores. Nessa etapa estava presente Ricardo Landi, piloto desde os 9 anos de idade com participação em competições de Kart, Fórmula Ford, Espron, Barber Dodge, Mini Challenge, AUDI DTCC. Porsche GT3 Cup Brasil, Fórmula 3, Endurance. Conquistou os títulos que seguem: Vice-Campeão Paulista Formula-Ford, Bi-Campeão Brasileiro de Endurance, Vice-Campeão Gaúcho de Endurance, Campeão da Mil Milhas Brasileiras 2008, Tri-Campeão dos 500 KM de Interlagos.
