Press Release Oktane Trackday 2013.2 - Velo Città
No dia 13 de Julho, foi realizada a segunda etapa do Oktane TrackDay em 2013, no Autódromo Velo Cittá, em Mogi Guacú, SP. Os 75 veículos inscritos foram divididos em duas categorias, sendo nomeadas de bateria vermelha e a bateria preta. Ambas se revezavam por 45 minutos durante todo o decorrer do evento.
Após o briefing com os pilotos a pista foi aberta e os pilotos puderam aproveitar toda a esportividade de seus bólidos. Adicionando a isso o lindo dia de sol e temperatura agradável proporcionaram um dia inesquecível de pista com tempo de sobra para todos os inscritos. Os 200 convidados VIP’s, além dos 75 inscritos, conferiram de perto toda a estrutura e segurança montada para receber um dos mais esperados eventos do ano, principalmente pelo nível dos carros presentes.
Com anos de eventos realizados e calendários sólidos de TrackDays todos os anos, os participantes não têm poupado investimentos nos carros, os deixando cada vez mais velozes e exclusivos, em preparação, ajustes personalizados e equipamentos de ponta, o que tem garantido, notadamente nos OTD’s, um show nunca antes visto no Brasil.
Até a Mitsubishi do Brasil, atenta ao crescimento e potencial dos OTD’s, inscreveu como participante um Lancer Evolution X altamente preparado para TrackDay, entregando a direção ao piloto Bruno Mesquita, atual número 1 da Lancer Cup Brasil.
O OTD 2013.2 teve como estreia a parceria com a Pirelli do Brasil, que proporcionou uma equipe profissional de troca de rodas e pneus, além de venda de seus produtos com preços especiais aos participantes. A PROTUNE, fabricante de centrais eletrônicas de alta performance, levou uma equipe de engenheiros e disponibilizou 20 centrais para teste dos interessados, sorteando uma delas no fim do evento. E ainda a GOPRO HD forneceu suporte de filmagem e edição de vídeos aos inscritos, também sorteando uma HERO3 aos presentes.
Ao final do dia foi realizada a bateria “Top 10″ onde apenas os participantes que registraram os 10 melhores tempos de todo o evento puderam participar. Com a pista mais livre, pneus slicks novos e com ajustes especificos de eletrônica, aerodinamica e suspensão estes partiram para a última tentativa de melhorar ainda mais os tempos registrados durante o dia.
Os porsches dominaram o topo dos monitores, com o tempo mais baixo do dia sendo marcado por Rodolfo Toni em seu Porsche 911 GT2 com pneus slicks - 1:41.963 - um registro de recorde em eventos de TrackDay no autódromo Velo Cittá. O segundo mais veloz, com uma diferença de apenas 192 milésimos de segundo, foi Euclydes Aranha com 1:42.155, pilotando um Porsche GT3 da Equipe Scuderia JPA, seguindo por Paulo Marangoni, a bordo de um 911 Turbo, alcançando 1:42.773.

When I initially commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on whenever a comment is added I recieve four emails with the exact same comment.
