A OktaneClub.com realizou no último domingo, dia 8 de abril, a quarta edição do Oktane TrackDay no Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet, RJ.
Permitindo apenas veículos de passeio licenciados e vistoriados por órgão responsável, o evento não configura competição esportiva, e ofereceu aos participantes, a oportunidade de testar e aprimorar suas habilidades ao volante com infra-estrutura e segurança dignas de eventos automobilísticos oficiais.
De jovens entusiastas a pilotos já consagrados o evento reuniu não só máquinas de altíssimo nível como Porsche 911, Lancer Evolution, Subaru WRX, Audi S4 mas também contou com raridades como Chevrolet Corvette 1964, Ford Mustang 1968 e o DKW-Belcar do piloto Newton Alves. Os veículos “normais” também marcaram forte presença, mostrando que, apesar de não serem desenvolvidos para pista, podem ser facilmente modificados, de forma a melhor se adaptarem à uma condução segura e precisa.
Com cerca de 5 horas de pista aberta, os pilotos deram um show de habilidade para o público que, mesmo em pleno feriado prolongado e com um sol forte, lotou as dependências do autódromo. “Montamos no autódromo uma infra-estrutura que engloba não só o evento dentro da pista, mas também com o objetivo de criar um ambiente família, onde os convidados possam visitar carros e lojas expostos nos boxes, trocar experiência com os participantes e convidados” relata o Daniel Amante, um dos organizadores do evento. “Durante a vistoria técnica dos veículos e credenciamento de pilotos e visitantes, organizamos a coleta de alimentos para que possamos realizar a contra-partida social do evento, que vem crescendo a cada dia”.
No final do dia, foi organizado o “Hot-Lap”, onde cada inscrito teve direito a 2 voltas cronometradas sendo estas realizadas individualmente, isto é, com apenas 1 participante de cada vez. “O Hot-Lap é muito interessante para os pilotos que sempre participam de nossos eventos, pois com os tempos em mãos, estes podem acompanhar a evolução de suas habilidades no volante” resume um dos organizadores do evento Rodrigo Gomes.
A segurança dentro e fora da pista foram totais, não havendo registro de qualquer incidente, deixando tranqüilas as equipes médica e de resgate presentes no evento.
A organização do evento gostaria de agradecer a todos os participantes, colaboradores, patrocinadores e ao público presentes. Agradecimentos especiais aos Postos Carrefour, cuja ajuda tem sido fundamental para viabilidade do evento, bem como para as doações de alimento à Obra Social do Rio de Janeiro.
