Press Release - Oktane Trackday 2009.1
Ano novo, vida nova. Fazendo juz à célere afirmação, inúmeras novidades pautaram a primeira etapa do Oktane TrackDay do ano, o OTD 2009.1, realizado no último dia 11 de abril, sábado, no autódromo de Jacarepaguá – RJ. A mais importante delas foi a implantação do controle de acesso, onde somente os convidados dos inscritos tiveram acesso ao autódromo, e aqueles que não portavam os convites foram cobrados pela entrada, o que garantiu paz, tranqüilidade e segurança para todos os presentes.
A tão comentada recessão que ataca o mundo e realização de um evento em pleno feriado de páscoa parecia uma loucura dos organizadores, porém, os participantes e público demonstraram estarem equivocados os pessimistas. O sucesso absoluto do evento foi concretizado pela participação de 45 veículos inscritos, 400 carros no estacionamento e aproximadamente 1.000 pessoas circulando pelo autódromo carioca.
Às 08:30 foi realizado o primeiro briefing com cerca de 30 participantes que já estavam presentes e prontos pra pista. Passadas as instruções, regras de conduta e normas de segurança, os pilotos novatos ingressaram no circuito juntamente com seus instrutores em bateria exclusiva de 15 minutos, logo após sendo o circuito liberado para todos os demais participantes.
Vale destacar o relato da primeira participação de Marco Malazzano no endereço http://autoentusiastas.blogspot.com/, que retratou com fidelidade ímpar as impressões de um novato em OTD’s.
Nos boxes, a fabricante de pneus Yokohama, sempre representada por sua revenda tiremax, realizava troca de rodas a pneus de maneira gratuita para todos os participantes. Diretamente de Curitiba, presente o Sr. Márcio, representante no Brasil da alemã H&R Springs e mais novo parceiro do OTD.
Já na pista, durante todo o dia o OTD foi dominado por Luis Felipe Ferraiolo, que trouxe seu Lancer Evo VI finalmente pronto em primeiro estágio, após dois longos anos de preparação de ponta, tudo especificamente desenvolvido e pensado para participação em TrackDays. Ipe, como é conhecido pelos amigos, trouxe um novo motor dos EUA, suspensão, rodas e roll-cage do Japão, dentre várias outras modificações que deixaram os presentes chocados com o altíssimo nível da preparação.
“O carro deve estar com uns 400 cavalos, com pressão de turbo em 0,9 kg, pois foi o máximo que consegui extrair com o sistema de combustível atual. Meu próximo passo é colocar as novas bombas e ligar a segunda bancada de bicos injetores para poder trabalhar com a pressão entre 1.8 e 2.2 kgs” ressaltou Ipe. Pelo visto, o tempo, dedicação e valores investidos surtiram efeito positivo, pois com apenas 16 voltas durante todo o dia, o respeitável tempo de 1:24.104 lhe garantiu a melhor volta do evento, sendo seguido por Ruy Filho pilotando o já famoso Maverick Branco, com o tempo de 1:24.928.
Outro destaque do evento, sem dúvidas, foi a tão comentada e esperada presença do Nissan GTR trazido por Marcos Machado. O famoso Godzilla, importado diretamente pelo proprietário e com menos de mil kms no odômetro, foi observado de perto por todos, e “amaciado” com estilo na pista de Jacarepaguá. Com 18 voltas no total, a melhor marca ficou em 1:27,931, lhe conferindo o terceiro tempo mais veloz. “Faltou muito braço. Além do mais estava preocupado com a caixa de marcha e também não queria destruir os pneus . O carro é um absurdo, estava acostumado com RX8 e EVO VII , mas o GT-R é absurdamente mais forte em curvas, frenagem e aceleração. Como não sou piloto profissional, preciso de tempo para conseguir melhor meu tempo e explorar os limites do carro” disse Marcos com humildade sobre sua participação.
Como sempre, os veículos japoneses dominaram o dia com a presença já freqüente dos Subaru WRX, Lancer Evolution, Mistubishi Eclipse, etc, sendo dos Honda Civic Si o número recorde de participações, com nada menos que 5 unidades num universo de 45 carros. O atual esportivo da Honda, que é fabricado no Brasil, demonstrou ótima adaptação à pista, demonstrando ser um legítimo carro rápido, com a volta de Marcos Ebert, cravando inacreditáveis 1:29.588, algo inimaginável para um veículo 4 cilindros aspirado utilizado no dia-a-dia por seu proprietário.
Muitos apostavam que o recorde de volta mais rápida seria batido neste evento, porém a melhor marca registrada nos OTD’s ainda pertence ao piloto Rodrigo DePaoli com seu Porsche 997 biturbo, com a marca de 01:23.206. Se os upgrades prometidos por Luis Felipe forem devidamente cumpridos, certamente teremos novos recordes ainda este ano. Que venha o OTD 2009.2 para a verdade venha à tona!
